It was in Barcelona that I saw you at first sight,
Sitting on that tree, nothing to hide.
The zebra pattern in black and white,
radiating loud and bright.
 
An appearance that made me mesmerize,
With blue and orange wing eyes.
Meeting you was a blessing in disguise,
Made the idea for this design arise.
 
The balance of the fierce and strong,
With the fragility of a butterfly along.
Giving me the strength and power,
In my challenge hour.
 
I found myself with a challenge that was hard,
Concerning my thyroid - this very special part,
That I had often not acknowledged with regard.
This matter needed a jump start.
 
Boxing gloves giving an extra portion of power,
to decide I will no longer cower,
And accepted the challenge under the shower,
This shirt me from now on empower.
 
Let this shirt be your companion to never give up,
And in moments of doubt give you a pushup,
So that you accept the challenge heads-up,
You are stronger than you think - so walk tall and chin-up!
